Joseph R. Harrison III was Born in Seattle Washington, attended high school in San Antonio Texas, and finally settled in Maryland while serving in the United States Air force. Joseph is a DMV Realtor with more than 17 years of marketing, leadership and management experience.

His valuable ability to reach a wide range of customers through creative marketing campaigns combined with his extensive local knowledge and negotiation skills, allows him to give each real estate client a personalized and profitable experience.

His extensive experience in real estate stems from serving as a director and facilitator of various military and academic programs. While Joseph now enjoys the fruits of being one of Maryland’s top realtors, life wasn’t always so easy.

Growing up, Joseph was no stranger to his family experiencing financial struggles. High school graduation was on the horizon, but he wasn’t able to enjoy the typical joys of being a Senior. He knew that he only had two options to choose from; get a full-time job or enlist in the United States Military. Due to a lack of resources, going to college was only a dream that he didn’t think could ever be realized.

So, after graduation, Joseph began a career in the United States Air Force. While there, Joseph was afforded the opportunity to begin collegiate-level academic studies. After serving 10 years in the military, Joseph, now an Honorably Discharged Veteran, transferred his hard work ethic and experiences obtained in the military into continuing his academic career. He transferred the credits he earned in the Air Force to Morgan State University, where he ultimately earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.

Also, during his time at Morgan, Joseph earned many prestigious university awards including Outstanding Morgan Man of the Year and inductions into numerous honor and fraternal organizations including Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Upon matriculating from college, Joseph began a career as a personal trainer, in addition to a career with the DC Government. And while this was something that he was good at, he wasn’t passionate about it nor did it pay what he desired. He was determined to provide a lifestyle for his family that he could only imagine growing up. Pursuing a career in real estate was always something that he’d thought about. But since he didn’t have any experience, he wasn’t sure if he’d be successful.

After extensive research and numerous hours of studying, Joseph was able to pass the Maryland Real Estate Exam and he began what would be a life changing real estate career with Exit Flagship Realty.

Joseph quickly rose to become the Top Producing Agent in the office, as he grossed over ten million dollars in home sales during his first two years as an agent. He rightfully earned his place in the Top 50 Exit Realty Agents in the Mid-Atlantic Region and also earned many distinguished awards for high sales achievements.

Now a top-earning realtor with Samson Properties, Joseph specializes in luxury and VA home sales, and is an expert with guiding and closing sales for first time home buyers and sellers. He holds in the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals, is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Sellers. He is also an active member of many community based organizations. Joseph resides in Prince George’s County, Maryland with his wife Nicole and their two children Joseph IV and Jiovanni.
